The UKCRIC All Hands meeting is an opportunity for all those involved in UKCRIC to hear important updates and take part in this unique national research programme. It’s also a chance to share your thoughts on UKCRIC to help shape future activities.
Join us for lunch, followed by a series of presentations and discussions to collectively determine how UKCRIC can help facilitate your collaborative research proposals, share upcoming activities, identify communications needs, and agree future agenda items.
Next month's All Hands focuses upon the opportunities and challenges of facilities management, including operations, access and business models. We will be grappling with sticky questions, such as who owns the data? Who gets included as authors on arising papers? How do you manage the technical and quality aspects of studies conducted in the lab to ensure safety and high quality research? What is the career progression for essential technicians? How do you financially support technical staff? Who gets to use the labs, and in what priority order? What are the tensions involved in running a lab that is part of a national network?
