Between the sea and the New Forest National Park, Fawley Waterside is being developed into a new vibrant coastal town with its own marina. It will be spread over 400,000 square metres, along 3 kilometres of pristine coastline, and sit inside the proposed Solent Freeport. Drawing on the best of British and European town planning and the architecture seen in the towns and villages around the New Forest, it aims to be a pioneering net zero smart town. Fawley Waterside’s science & technology park will target sectors including marine technology, smart cities, and advanced manufacturing, and will integrate industry, government & academia in a site focused on social value and the environment.
