This facility has a dedicated rig for the investigation of Point-of-Use (POU) and Point-of-Entry (POE) water treatment and water quality.
It includes dedicated instrumentation for the analysis of water quality parameters such as fluorescence excitation and emission matrix (EMM), turbidity and absorbance. An instrument for automated solid phase extraction (SPE) is also available.
Testing systems for UV-based experimentation are included in the facility. A UV-LED collimated beam system and a UV-LED POU treatment rig are available for disinfection or advanced oxidation testing.
