Public Engagement

Engaging with the public including policy makers, academics, industry partners including local business and enterprise, school children and students is an important way to disseminate research findings to the world outside of academia. The UKCRIC Doctoral Skills Network is a collaborative project and we encourage members to suggest training and development ideas that would benefit others in the network.

Suggestions include:

  • Seminars lead by industry and academic researchers on key current topics (online or in person)
  • Networking events, with industry partners, universities, policy makers
  • UKCRIC Laboratory exchange programme including collaborative short-term research projects
