The Techne DB200/3 Dri-block heater provides a safe, dry, constant temperature source in the laboratory.

The Techne DB200/3 Dri-block heater is a precise temperature control source for general heating and culture applications as well as sensitive analysis procedures particularly suitable for microbiology and clinical laboratories. It is designed for precise heating of test tubes, microcentrifuge tubes, cuvettes and microtiter plates. It uses processed aluminum alloy Dri-Block inserts as the heat transfer medium, covering the ambient temperature range of +5°C to 200°C. Independent indicator lights indicate the main power supply and heater action.

 

Applications

Applications include incubation, boiling, inactivation, wet washing, sample concentration, enzyme digestions, enzyme activity studies, nucleic acid hybridisations and many other clinical and industrial purposes.
