This instrument is a Collimated Beam Device which employs UV- LEDs at different wavelengths. It emits light at a narrow band emission with Petri Dish Factor above 0.9. It can irradiate samples in Petri dishes up to 60 mm in size.
This instrument can be used to carry out UV testing of samples for different purposes such as water disinfection or advanced oxidation. The samples are placed in a petri dish under the collimating tube and the system is switched on and off with a control panel.
