Dionex AutoTrace 280 Solid Phase Extraction Instrument

Dionex AutoTrace 280 Solid Phase Extraction Instrument

Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) is a sample preparation technique used for the selective quantification of compounds of interest. This is done using an adsorbent which can separate the compounds of interest based on their physico-chemical properties. Traditional SPE processes are done manually, which is time consuming.

The Dionex AutoTrace SPE instrument is an automated SPE device that can extract sample volumes between 20 mL to 4 L. It can be configured with 1, 3, or 6 mL SPE cartridges. The instrument automatically loads the water samples on the SPE adsorbent and automatically extract the analytes of interest using up to five different solvents. It can automatically condition, rinse and elute the cartridges and simultaneously load 6 samples. It separates water and waste through different lines. It can be applied to groundwater samples, surface waters and groundwaters.
