This year, UKCRIC is again actively involved in the planning of the International Symposium for Next Generation Infrastructure, ISNGI 2021. It takes place on 15-17th September 2021, both in Rotterdam and online.

ISNGI 2021 provides a platform for infrastructure systems research and practice, especially for radical transdisciplinary research which seeks to conceptualize, enact and model an integrative approach and make a system-of-systems view to infrastructure operational.

ISNGI 2021 invites contributions from academics, industry, practitioners and government representatives, with leading research, visions and experience in the field of infrastructures. The programme provides for showcasing innovative infrastructure projects and academic research results, and offers ample opportunity for interaction, dialogue and exchange of knowledge and
experience across disciplines and across infrastructure sectors.

The vision of ISNGI is to ensure the best and sharpest minds from industry, government and academia collectively inform strategies to meet the next generation infrastructure challenges.

The symposia will be the 7th in the series.

The main themes of the symposia are:

Sustainable and resilient infrastructure

Smart and integrated infrastructure

Societal values and infrastructure governance

You can still submit an abstract for this event. The deadline has been extended to Friday, 16th April.

You can also access papers and presentations from previous ISNGI events.
